The practice

A partner for leaders who intend to keep growing

Principal of Karlsen Consulting Group

Over the past 25 years, I have actively partnered with small businesses as well as large global organizations to help reengage transformative business growth. The work begins with an honest look at how the organization actually operates, how people lead, and what the market now requires.

That diagnostic creates an operational and cultural snapshot. It names current market realities and the internal strengths that can become the foundation of an executable long-term strategic path. From there we work together: aligning leadership, refining capabilities, and closing the distance between the plan on paper and the work on the ground.

I built Karlsen Consulting Group for business owners, leaders, and women executives who want growth to stay a priority after the offsite ends. The practice sits at the intersection of strategy, education, and coaching because those three have to move together if change is going to last.

Credentials that shape the work

Formal preparation in how adults learn, how organizations change, and how executives grow is not decoration. It is the method behind every engagement.

M.Ed. in Curriculum Development

Leadership education is designed, developed, and delivered as a complete learning system, not a stack of disconnected workshops.

Organizational change management

Strategy is treated as a change in how people work. We plan for culture, capability, and the habits that make a new direction real.

Executive coaching

Individual and group coaching for executives who need a confidential, rigorous sounding board as they lead through complexity.

Women-centered coaching

A dedicated coaching practice for women executives, built around the realities of authority, visibility, and the rooms they are asked to lead.

Who this is for

Business owners who need a strategic path they can actually run. Leaders who feel the gap between what the organization says and what it does. Women executives who want a coaching partnership that understands the particular weight of their role.

Clients range from closely held companies to large international organizations. The scale changes. The discipline does not: see clearly, align the people who have to carry the work, and keep growth on the agenda.

How an engagement begins

We start with conversation. You describe the pressure on the business, the leadership bench, and the growth you cannot afford to postpone. If there is a fit, we move into the snapshot: a structured look at operations, culture, and market conditions that becomes the brief for planning, education, or coaching.
